After a DUI Charge -- Act Quickly
After a DUI charge, it is critical that you take steps to protect your rights. The ability to keep driving is important, especially if your occupation depends on it.
If the officer determined that your blood alcohol level was over .10, your license will be automatically suspended in 30 days. You only have 10 days to request an administrative hearing to challenge the suspension. Jim will represent you at the hearing before the Department of Public Safety. If suspension is unavoidable, he will work to obtain for you a temporary license that will let you travel for work, medical appointments and for meeting household needs.
Regarding the criminal component of your DUI case, Jim will thoroughly investigate the facts of your case and identify all the weaknesses in the State's case against you. He will aggressively defend your rights and, depending on the facts of your case, challenge aspects of the case including the basis for the stop, the alcohol testing and the actions of the officer.
